Turns out I’m a bit of a leadership cocktail: visionary, maybe; balanced… not so much

𝐓𝐡𝐚𝐭’𝐬 𝐰𝐡𝐲 𝐈 𝐬𝐮𝐫𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝 𝐦𝐲𝐬𝐞𝐥𝐟 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐩𝐞𝐨𝐩𝐥𝐞 𝐰𝐡𝐨 𝐤𝐞𝐞𝐩 𝐦𝐲 𝐟𝐞𝐞𝐭 𝐟𝐢𝐫𝐦𝐥𝐲 𝐠𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐝.

According to the Team Covalence framework we use at Optifi:
👉 I’m a 70% Driver, 30% Expressive, 0% Amiable (who knew?)
👉 A conceptual thinker with a balance of logical and relational styles
👉 And I (enthusiastically) rebel against restrictive structures…just ask any boss I’ve ever had

𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐝𝐨𝐞𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐲 𝐦𝐞𝐚𝐧?
I think big, move fast, tackle roadblocks and drive action on complex challenges. Left unchecked, that energy can read as impatience: details get missed and unintended friction follows.

That’s why I don’t just value diversity of thought: 𝐈 𝐫𝐞𝐥𝐲 𝐨𝐧 𝐢𝐭.

At Optifi, I’m surrounded by a team that:
✔ Slow things down to allow ideas to mature
✔ Turn vision into practical reality
✔ Ask the uncomfortable (but essential) questions
✔ Steady the ship while I try to build the rocket

This isn’t a flaw, it’s the point. 𝐍𝐨 𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐬𝐭𝐲𝐥𝐞 𝐦𝐚𝐤𝐞𝐬 𝐚 𝐠𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭 𝐭𝐞𝐚𝐦. 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐛𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐬 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐛𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞, 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐬𝐚𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬.

💡 So here’s my nudge: Embrace your imbalances. Then build the team that makes you stronger.

“𝐓𝐨 𝐛𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐝 𝐚 𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐞𝐚𝐦, 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐦𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝐬𝐞𝐞 𝐬𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐞𝐥𝐬𝐞’𝐬 𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐭𝐡 𝐚𝐬 𝐚 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐭𝐨 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐰𝐞𝐚𝐤𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬, 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐚 𝐭𝐡𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭 𝐭𝐨 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧.” [𝐂𝐡𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐂𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐞]
